The Base Jiu Jitsu Boise Hygiene Guidelines

Hygiene Guidelines

Ensure a Clean and Respectful Training Environment

Liability Waiver: Before stepping onto the mats, make sure to sign the liability waiver. This is a crucial step for safety and compliance.

Footwear Policy: To maintain hygiene, please remove all shoes and socks before accessing the mats. Additionally, ensure that any braces you wear are free from metal or hard objects, and note that jock cups are not allowed.

Respectful Behavior: As a gesture of respect, always bow before entering the matted area. This simple act fosters a positive training atmosphere.

Personal Hygiene: Arrive at the gym with your training attire and body freshly washed and free of offensive odors. Good personal hygiene contributes to a comfortable environment for everyone.

Health Precautions: For health and safety reasons, avoid training with open wounds, including fresh tattoos within the past 5 days, or rashes. This policy helps prevent the spread of infections.

Mats Cleaning: We prioritize cleanliness by thoroughly cleaning our mats 2-3 times a day. This routine maintenance ensures a hygienic training space.

Gi Guidelines: Feel free to wear any colored gi; however, it must not feature offensive words or images. This guideline helps maintain a respectful and professional atmosphere on the mats.
